Odíhg Tshizhāj (Tshiz /həˑʤ/ [screw] [film]) is a subtropical Town located in the Altodålph Region of the Tetbur Commune.
The name Odíhg Tshizhāj is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Tshizhāj was founded by Zêrga Leyshon, who was culturaly Tauric.
Climate
Odíhg Tshizhāj has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Odíhg Tshizhāj receives an average of 181 cm/y (71 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Odíhg Tshizhāj covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 4448 m (14593 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Odíhg Tshizhāj was founded durring the early 17th century in late summer of the year 1643, by Zêrga Leyshon. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.
Odíhg Tshizhāj was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Tshizhāj is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.
Odíhg Tshizhāj is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad paverstone streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The town's peasent-grade are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.
The first thing you notice about Odíhg Tshizhāj is the large sign at the entrance welcoming you to their humble town. Children come up to you and say hi, some asking if you’ve fought any big monsters, and others just zipping away after their hello. The adults are much the same. By the time you’ve made it a significant way into the town you’ve been invited to a tavern for a pint to drink in exchange for news of the world. You’ve also had no less than three older women give you a sweetroll and direct your attention to their still unmarried children. It would be creepy if it wasn't so sincere.

Odíhg Tshizhāj possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Odíhg Tshizhāj's grid is powered by a god's will and kindness.
Odíhg Tshizhāj has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Odíhg Tshizhāj has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Odíhg Tshizhāj is home to a distinct subculture, who are either the majority here or have the dominant positions in the community. Architecture, local laws, and social customs are all tuned to suit them, and they may not be particularly forgiving or friendly to the major culture of the region. Communities that are not outright independent usually make an arm's-length submission to a local lord.
Odíhg Tshizhāj's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by towering round arches, massive stone and brickwork, small windows, thick walls, and a propensity for housing art and sculpture depicting mythological scenes. The building's general shape would be a clever and ascetic combination of geometric shapes, which would be blended together by joining elements. The style's decorative features were largely internal rather than external and incorporated semicircular arches for windows, doors, and arcades; barrel or groin vaults to support the roof of the nave; massive piers and walls, with few windows, to contain the outward thrust of the vaults; side aisles with galleries above them..

The Flea, Giant near Odíhg Tshizhāj are known to be more aggressive than normal.
Odíhg Tshizhāj's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves bloodletting to channel Elven High Magic energies of tier 2 via chanting.
